The Wellinton Board of Directors has decided to change the key lock on the tennis courts. It appears too many homeowners are sharing their keys with those that do not live in the community and therefore do not pay for the upkeep of the courts. To combat this, a new lock has been installed and new keys will be issued.
Moving forward, only one key per address, will be issued. You will need to keep the key secure, as you do your car and home keys, and not misplace it or “lose it” on a regular basis as the cost for the replacement key is going up.
There will be a key exchange this coming Wednesday, January 10th, 2024. It will be held down at the clubhouse between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM. There will be another exchange on Saturday, January 13th, 2024. It will also be held down at the clubhouse from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
You must bring your current tennis key with you to have it replaced with the new one. If you have lost your key, the cost will be $25 to replace it. It will be $25 at the key exchange and if you cannot make the key exchange, the cost will be the same when you pick it up at the HMS office, as that is where the keys will be stored after the onsite exchange. However, the cost to replace the new key is going to double. If you lose the current key once you receive it, the cost will be greater to replace it. Please keep it in a secure location so you will not have to pay the increase for a lost key.
